Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ is committed to fostering an environment in which all members of our community are safe, secure, and free from sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ encourages anyone in our community who has been the target of, or who witnesses, sexual misconduct, discrimination, or harassment based on a protected category to report the incident to the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance (OCR) so that those impacted can be provided with information on available resources and options.

Discrimination and Harassment

Fostering an environment free from and addressing instances of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation includes outreach, training, and resolution processes. This commitment applies to the University’s living, learning, working, program, and activity environments. The Discrimination and Harassment website includes resources for individuals who have experienced discrimination or harassment, and reporting options.

Accessibility and Accommodations

In addition to providing reasonable accommodations on the basis of disability, pregnancy, lactation, and religion, we also respond to concerns related to physical and digital accessibility, as well as reviewing disability grievances and discrimination/harassment concerns. Education, Guides, and Learning

The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance offers a variety of informational sessions, trainings, and workshops related to discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct policy at NU. They are designed to inform students, staff, faculty, and visitors about their rights and responsibilities as members of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ community, and to equip community members with the tools to create an equitable and accessible living, learning, and working environment for all.
